I qualified as an Occupational Therapist in 1998 and spent eight years in private practice, where I conducted ACC assessments (including social, vocational, housing modifications, and equipment), worksite assessments, return-to-work and return-to-school programs, and corporate training courses on healthy work practices. Later, I took a career pause to focus on parenting. During this time, through personal experience, volunteer work, and continuing education, I expanded my expertise in executive function coaching, gifted learning programs, pre-academic skill development, ADHD, ASD, food allergies, and life coaching. This journey deepened my understanding of the challenges neurodivergent individuals and families face, highlighting the need for occupational therapy coaching services that support parents, neurodivergent children, teens, and adults.

I'm passionate about helping neurodivergent families, teens, and adults- supporting them to implement evidence-based strategies to navigate everyday challenges, foster stronger connections, and build communication that works for everyone. By focusing on what's meaningful to each person and family, I aim to create space where individuals feel seen, understood, and empowered to thrive on their own terms.

I support teens and adults with neurodivergence to understand their unique brains through a strengths-based approach, helping them strive for goals that are meaningful to them. This may involve implementing new routines, adapting environments, using sensory strategies, learning emotional regulation strategies, and applying other evidence-based approaches (including CBT) to empower them to thrive.

I integrate my expertise in occupational therapy, coaching, and firsthand parenting experience, to offer practical strategies tailored to each person. These strategies help individuals and families navigate challenges, build on strengths, support well-being, and and create environments where everyone can thrive- at home, at school, at work, and in relationship

Life is an ongoing journey of learning and growing; it would be my privilege to support you on your journey.

I also provide group presentations in schools and at conferences. I'm happy to discuss presentation options; these can be tailored to support parents in your community and/or your students.
